This page says what The Good Life Collective collects about you, why, and what we do with it. The data controller is RebelCode Ltd, 12, Triq is-Snajja’, Mosta, MST 1805, Malta. Write to [email protected] about anything here.
When you apply
The application form asks for your name, email, where you’re based, where to find you online, and a few sentences about you. We use it to decide whether to invite you, and to reply. If you’re not accepted, we delete the application within a year. If you are, it becomes part of your member record.
When you’re a member
Your account holds your name, email and a password, which is stored hashed. Payments go through Stripe, so your card details are held by Stripe and never by us. We keep records of what you’ve paid for as long as accounting law requires.
Your Telegram account and whatever you choose to put in the member directory on this site are visible to other members, and only to them.
Members get the occasional email from us, such as the roundup. There’s a link to stop them in every one.
This site
The site sets cookies only when you log in, to keep you logged in. We use Vireo Analytics to count visits, which stores no cookies and no personal data.
Who else sees your data
The companies that run things for us: Kinsta, which hosts the site; Stripe, which handles payments; MailPoet, which sends the emails; and Telegram, where the group lives. Each of them processes your data only to provide that service. We don’t sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email us. If you’re in the EU and think we’ve got something wrong, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
